[So it starts outside the familiar city of Ecruteak. After going the unexpectedly short distance to Olivine to get their mopey little friend, they decided on making a pitstop at this city as a bit of shelter from the cold.

...Miyako is obviously using her time wisely. She smiles at the camera.]

As you all know, Valentine's Day is coming up, and I've got this friend who's a little down in the dumps. [Or a lot down in the dumps, part of which may be her fault for enabling it. Buuut lol not touching that.] So I figured, because it's valentine's day... Or even a little after!

...but it'd be really nice to find him a girlfriend or someone.

[Yes. She's going to be that blunt. She smiles at the camera.]

I mean... he's young, but he's pretty nice? Very determined. Really cheerful. ...He's got a good head on his shoulders! [She nods to confirm this.]

Here! Let me find him! [And with that, she turns the view over to where she's walking, and the first image is the view of a door of a pokécenter... then inside...

And there's Daisuke. Sitting on a couch, and apparently sulking. He looks quite miserable, honestly. But she won't let that deter her!]

Look up, Daisuke-kun!

[EXCUSE YOU R00D MIYAKO, HE WAS BROODING-- blinking he looks up.] What?

[Off-camera, she's frowning at him. You can almost hear it in her voice.] Hey, what kind of welcome is that? Say hi!

[Huffing slightly, he looks up and pouts.] Why? And what are you doing with that? [He looks at the gear.]

Oh... nothing... [And she turns it back to herself.] He's usually not this pouty. I think it's just the winter blues or something...

[The angle shifts to show them both. His brows are raised, whereas she looks a little nervous to have been so easily caught. But honestly? Miyako's just asking for it.]

Whaaaat? What are you talking about Miyako? And why are you talking to that thing?

Ohhhh no reason! [She looks at him with a nervous smile, and OKAY THIS IS SO GOING OFF RIGHT NOW.]

[And around ten minutes later, she's back with a good portion of treats. Setting them down, she plops back on the couch next to him.]

Thanks. [he takes them and instantly inserts food into his mouth. yep.]

[She ain't even mad! Just gonna sit with and watch.]

[Daisuke is in his natural habitat when he's eating junk food. He doesn't even bother looking at his prey as he devours them ever so slowly. this could possibly be a form of cruel torture for said treats. that, or he could just be savoring the taste.]

[At least the wild beast is quite tame when bribed with sweets. It's odd that he's taking his time with it. Very, very odd.]

[he's had his time to cope. munchmunchmunch]

[That's good. But now what. Sounds like... rambling time!]

So I'm thinking we can probably head out tomorrow or the day after. Stuff should be calm by then, right?

[She reaches over to poke his cheek.] Do you want to stay here longer, or something?

I don't care Miyako! Whatever the others are cool with, I'll be cool with too. I've been in Cherrygrove for too long that I'm used to it. So I really don't care if we stay longer or not. [well, so long as everyone's pokémon can survive :Va]

[And she leans back and pulls her hands away really fast. Don't look so angry, Daisuke! You scared her.]

[he looks up.] Uhhhm... I dunno, something that sounds fun and involves everybody. I'd say soccer, but not everybody would want to play.

Hmm... Yeah. I don't think you could pay to get Mimi-san playing. She could probably cheer us on, though!

Well you'll never know until you ask! [he pauses.] But guess we'll have to ask her whenever we leave this place.
