She's sitting at the desk in an inn, with three packages and an egg on the wooden surface in front of the gear. And, judging by the uncertain face she's making, she's quite uncomfortable with this.]

So... A few of my friends left this city, and it reminded me that I... have these...

They're from Valentine's day, and, um...

[Gosh, so awkward.]

I talked to a person on the gear the other day. He told a riddle about a man named Mr. Holmes. I... don't really know who it was but, um... I... got you something?

And, um... Ken-ku--Ichijouji-kun...

[She looks away, cheeks burning red.] I... got something for you too.

And this egg! [LA LA SUBJECT CHANGE. With that, she reaches past the three gifts and lifts up a bright red, blue, and white egg.] I'm... Is it mine? It is, right? It's... well, I don't know what it is, but it'll be neat to see when it hatches! It hops sometimes!

...is that natural?

I have an egg like that too. It hops like the Loftwing eggs I've seen, so I have assumed it was natural.

Uhh... This is actually my first real egg. But from what I hear, all sorts of baby pokémon come from these.

All sorts? [Blinking, brb, checking out his egg.] So it isn't just birds hatching from the eggs?

Yep! All sorts, even the weird ones!

[She laughs.] I thought it was odd too until I saw it myself.

That is.. different. I've never seen anything else but a bird hatch from an egg, but maybe that's... just how the surface world is. [The last bit was mumbled to himself thoughtfully, his expression a bit off elsewhere as his brain worked away. Gorons from eggs? Mogmas from eggs? Probably not but he really doesn't know a lot about the surface world, so it would be better to not assume?]
