[It clicks on because there is a very, VERY excited Rufflet bouncing at the screen. Or rather, on it, seeing as the little bird type has hopped on the bedside table. It's the pokécenter in Violet, and from the looks of it, the little bird's trainer is definitely awake.

And... actually quite confused. But upon the soft, eager squawking of the Rufflet, Miyako finally turns to look at him and just reaches her arms forward. It bounces over and hops in her lap, and she just pets his feathers, reaching for her glasses. Once she gets those on her face, her hand stretches back out for the gear.]

Jeez, Ruffles, you turned it on. See that light? It's blinking.

[He cooed at her, but after a quick moment of shoving his feathers in her face as some odd, nuzzling display of affection, he bounces back over to the table. However, his talon hits it, and the gear spins right off the table and... behind it. There's a very pretty sight of the wall.]

Ah! Ruffles, what are you doing?! Just sit on the pillow! [More commotion as the girl scrambles out of bed, reaching for the gear--which she accidentally pushes even further over, as seen by the very faint moving of the strip of light above. And in her struggles, there's a sudden loud beep as the little Rufflet accidentally sets off the Nurse Call button, followed by a thud as Miyako smacks her arm and her chin on the floor in surprise.]

Ua! Oww... That hurt... [Whatever. Still going for this gear, which is slowly but steadily moving away with every touch.] And I can't reach it!

[And with the loud commotion of the beeps and a Nurse Joy running into the room to tell her to get back into the bed, the gear times out and ends the connection.]

[Ken is returning to the Pokémon Center with lunch, both for himself and for an Eevee that's currently underfoot. Upon seeing the commotion, however, he rushes in, almost dropping the bags he's carrying.]

What's happened? Is anything -

[Hey, here's Ken staring at you. It's kind of hard to read his expression except for "surprise". She.....while he was away....

He'd meant to be there when she woke up.]

--Miyako-san?!

[While the nurse tries tugging her hand from behind the table, Miyako looks up. Then, with a sheepish laugh, she quickly sits up and tries to brush off her pajamas. Nope, no chaos here, not at all.]

H-hi, Ken-kun!

[Too bad Joy won't let this conversation start off right. Already fussing over young kids wasting their energy, she's quick to tell Ken to hold on just so she can force Miyako back over to the bed. The struggling doesn't work too well, and within a minute she's sitting back in the bed with the covers drawn, and the nurse is making her way out to go check on charts or whatnot. Miyako waits until she's gone before hopping right back out.]

...sorry about that. I... kind of dropped my gear.

Ah - no - you....

[He's just retreated to this corner here since he doesn't want to be in the nurse's way, but once that's taken care of he'll glance about, intending to retrieve said Gear for her.

But wait, is that really what's important right now??]

--you're awake.

[This kid once had magazine articles written about his intelligence.]

[Nodding, she steps a little closer, fidgeting with her sleeves.

The gear could wait. Since she had a buddy here, now came time for awkward questions!]

Yep. I'm up! Um... How long was I asleep? I don't remember being here...

[He looks away for a moment.]

Weeks. We - brought you here, though...everyone assured me it - wasn't abnormal....

You're - really all right?

[He's able to look at you for that, though. He's worried. About all kinds of things! What else is new.]

Weeks!?

[She just stares at him for a moment in complete shock. She had been asleep for weeks!?

That has her moving back to the bed to sit down--just narrowly squashing her little bird, who hops out of the way just in time to avoid it with a squeak--and she finds herself looking between him and the floor.]

Well... I guess it makes sense... I... think. I mean, I was at home, and--

[That was right. Staring at Ken, she just gives it time to process. Fighting the Kaiser--fighting Ken himself--and Arachnemon--seeing BlackWarGreymon in Kyoto, and...

And just as her mind's trying to process everything, she just starts blurting things out.]

I... I went home. I totally went home, and you--You're not the Kaiser anymore! And I totally--oh man. I slapped you. Ken I am so sorry I slapped you! Oh my god I can't believe I did that.

Pokemon are almost more trouble than anything else, sometimes.

[And when she finally manages to get her gear back:]

They really are! But Ruffles is a cutie when he wants to be.

And what happened to you? Looks like you were laid up.

Oh! Yeah I... was asleep. I remember going home, but my friends said I apparently slept here the whole time.

I believe someone else was mentioning something similar happening. How strange.

It is! I'm still pretty confused, and it doesn't make much sense, but... I'm back, so I'm glad!

[She waves at the gear and laughs nervously.] Hikari-chan! Yeah, I'm up now. It's kind of weird that I slept in that long, huh?

So, umm... what exactly do you remember now?

I WENT TO KYOTO! And I met Sora-san's dad and Jyou-senpai's older brother! B-but that's not the relevant part. Goodness, um. We're fighting Arachnemon and Mummymon, and BlackWarGreymon... It's crazy! Was the digital world always this crazy? Because I don't think it was this crazy.

And well... it kinda always was like that. At least as far as the situations we got in, anyway.

[Takeru chuckles a bit at all that shenanigans. But he's evidently happier for the fact that she's awake.]

Ah, Miyako-san! It's great to see you're finally awake!

Takeru-kun, hey! Thank you! [She waves.] Sorry I kept you guys so long! Ken-kun told me what happened. I can't believe I slept that long!

I can't believe it either, to be honest. We were worried something weird is going on, only to find it's actually normal in this place.

Yeah, I went home. And to Kyoto! A lot of stuff happened. But... I know Ken's not the kaiser anymore! And that we've got more trouble ahead of us.
