[And it's really just Miyako crying into the gear. Someone has not been having a very good week... as expected, really.]

I want to go home! I ended up in Saffron City, and I have thirty-four left socks and twenty-six pokéballs when I'm sure I just had eight--I counted!--and I just... This was the worst birthday and the worst week and I hate everything!

[She takes a moment to wipe her eyes with the back of her hand, but her face is nothing but a red mess of tears and sniffles. Even taking a few breaths doesn't work, as she's quick to work herself up again when she starts talking.]

I can't even get to CheepCheep! All I have is this... whatever I caught, and it makes weird laughing sounds every time I take it out. I... I don't want it!

H-how do I get rid of this thing!? I need my party back!

[Because now she doesn't know what to say to Miyako. It's not like she could really tell her to just stay safe and wait. Not with her pokémon cut off like that.]

I... I don't know-- they think if they're still in the b-box, then they're... they're okay. But... but I can't get to them a-and they're stuck and I... I just...

[She starts crying harder again. Panic mode initiated.]

[Hikari really didn't have any idea of what to say, of what to do. It wasn't like she could fix anything like this. Miyako would be the one who'd be able to do that with the computers and stuff... and obviously she couldn't figure it out.

Maybe if Ken was still here they could figure it out but...]

I... I'm going to try to head on the train back to Saffron, okay. I... I'll be leaving on the next train, okay?

[She just nods, wiping at her eyes with the back of her hands.]

I'm already in Goldenrod, so it shouldn't take me too long to get there.

N-no, it's okay. I'll... I'll stop by the PokéCenter and then come visit you, alright? I don't want you to come over here for nothing.

We don't know if anything else weird is going to happen, and I'd feel better about this if I was the one going to you than the other way around.
